Farming Innovation Award


Brixworth Farming are delighted to have been selected as a finalist in the Farming Innovation category of the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food & Drink Awards,

an annual competition aimed at celebrating all that is great about local food and drink, recognising excellence within the county’s dining and drinking venues. This award is a new category designed to recognise those farmers/primary producers who have introduced modern and innovative techniques onto their arable, livestock or mixed farms to become more environmentally friendly and/or to raise standards in animal welfare and food production.

We are delighted that Brixworth Farming has been chosen as one of six finalists in the new Farming Innoation award category. It fits well with our ethos that, although we are primary producers, as farmers our produce is used to make bread, breakfast cereals, mayonnaise and other foods, some of which is produced and consumed in our wonderful county of Northamptonshire, and that our role is to produce these ingredients in an environmentally, economically and socially sustainable way, and using innovative ways to do so.
