Lead Sprayer & Combine Operator

Due to a member of our team progressing in their career we have an excellent opportunity available for an experienced arable operator with a real passion for crop care and the environment. This individual will need to operate effectively both under their own initiative and as part of a team and in return will be rewarded with a competitive wage, relevant training and full support in order to further progress themselves.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • PA 1 & 2 licences and preferably PA4G, PA4S and PA6
  • Previous combining experience
  • An understanding of precision farming and diligent record keeping
  • A good attention to detail and strong commitment to environmental protection
  • A safe approach to work
  • Experience of large-scale spraying operations

Cultivations Operator

We are looking for a member of our cultivations team to operate a Challenger MT865 on RTK guidance. The sucessful candidate must be over 21 and hold a Category H licence. Experience of GPS equipment, particulalry Topcon would be preferrable. Previous cultivation experience is essential.

Chaser Bin Driver

The available position is to lead the team of chaser bin drivers, communicating with the combines and the lorries to help ensure a smooth haulage solution for harvest. The harvest team includes 3 drivers for GS24.5 chaser bins. This summer we are aiming to utilise technology, including apps such as the Claas Fleetview app, to help facilitate the link between the combines, chaser bins and lorries, therefore an understanding of smartphone/tablet technology would be useful.

The requirement is from 3rd week in July until early September (possibly longer) and the successful candidates must be willing to work long hours, be organised and good logistical abilities would be helpful as well as working well as part of a team.
